Working with Jake was always a pleasant, educational, and professional experience. His assessments of people, both students and colleagues, were excellent and insightful. Also of particular note was his ability to pick out the best Chinese restaurants in northern Virginia - - - a number of his friends depended on him for that sort of information that helped keep up our morale and health! He will be missed. His smile will live on!
