Not sure what to say?

Our prayers are with Frances and the entire Brasfield family. John was a friend to all who knew him and I will always remember fondly my time with John at Tennessee Mortuary.

Dear Johnny, I am sure that you are in heaven with your mother and dad and grandparents. Life can't be much better than that. I love you, Aunt Elizabeth

The Brasfield family is so deeply saddened by the passing of John. He was a great man that this family is truly going to miss. Kaye is going to miss the man that she has loved since the sixth grade. He was a great provider, husband, and father. Adam and Nic are going to miss their dad. He was such a strong supporter of them both throughout their years of sports, careers, marriage, and now children. John was very proud of his family and loved them more than they will ever know. We are so...

I will never forget John Brasfield. From the many times I spent with Adam and Nic at their house, to the time John and my dad coached our First Assembly Angels baseball team, to the times he offered encouragement to me after high school basketball games. Adam and Nic spent much of their growing up time on the athletic fields, where I was. And their dad was always right there, cheering us all on. He was a lot of fun to be around, and he cared for other people before himself. My family and I...

So much comes to mind when I remember John Brasfield - with every thought, I smile and laugh! He was always so full of life and a joy to be around. I can still hear him laughing now. I will remember him fondly from the time the Brasfield family let us "live" with them during the ice storm to the time my dad ran into a cement truck and John was one of the first ones there to offer his help. He was such an incredible family man who loved each of them deeply (including Magnolia and Blossom and...

I am from Johnny's childhood. Sadly in adulthood Johnny and I lost contact. I can say that as a child and teen Johnny was alot of fun. I remember playing on Grandma and Granddaddy's farm with him, swimming in the pond, catching baby bats, picking black berries, playing rook and riding in the wagon pulled by Grandaddy's mule cake. He was plain and simply fun to be with. And, he was a fine athlete. I have missed him for a long time and I am sad that he is gone. Johnny I loved you. Peace...

John was truly a wonderful man. We remember the hours he spent working for the FACS Booster Club, the time he spent with his sons and going to games (they always had the best sports equipment), and his love for Jesus. We especially remember the week we spent at John and Kayes during the ice storm. Jimmy remembers reading the love letters John wrote Kaye from the sixth grade on. The Brasfield home was always a fun place to hang out, laugh, and enjoy a great friendship. We remember the golf...

Johnny was so special .....he was a "giver of the heart" and would help anyone if he could. Frances, you are in my prayers that God will give you strength through the coming days. He will be missed greatly.

Chuck and I are so sorry to hear about John's passing. We will keep your family in our prayers. He is in Jesus' hands now - healed.
With deepest sympathy - Chuck and Debra Fanning
