Monsignor Brenkle´s friends and family would not be surprised to know that he was a generous and faithful supporter of the Missionaries of Africa, the largest Catholic congregation dedicated to Africa. He was a lifelong friend to our missions and the people we serve. We will remember him with gratitude and hold him in our prayers.

We are so sorry to hear of Father Brenkle´s passing. He officiated at our wedding in 1976 and ever since then he has inspired us by modeling a life of caring and charity. No doubt he is sitting amongst the angels.

A truly inspirational and spiritual leader who taught us all to share and "pay it forward". He will be truly missed in the St helena Community. I am having a Manhattan and cigar in your honor tonight!

Thank you Father Brenkle for always being there when we needed you the most. You helped my Mother, sisters and I so much when we had hard times. You baptized me in 1984 and was there for so many life events for our Family leading us in prayer and guiding us along the way. You were a Saint! Peace be with you Father. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. You will be missed!
