Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Brens: Jack and I were classmates at the University of Wisconsin when he was a star basketball player. We partied together at the Chi Phi House and I have many fond memories of him. He was a gentle soul and always fun to be with. Although I have not been in contact with him all these years, he was part of my history and I will always remember him. Please accept my deepest sympathies for you and your family.

Sincerely, Cathy Bates Cowen

Kathy and family,
I am just so sorry to hear about Jack. We do share wonderful memories, though, don't we? I picture Jack, dressed for our '50s party, with one elbow on my shoulder and one on Judy Mehalic's. Such a special, gentle man. Please know all my thoughts and love go out to you now and in the coming months.

Kathy our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

JP,

Jackie was a favorite of so many of us and it won't seem the same without him at our classmates gatherings, but again, hope you will come as often as you can. Kiwanis, oh Kiwanis, we do have a good...
