John Breslin

It's now been many years since John has passed but he is not forgotten. We enjoyed weekly Sunday night chats after I moved from G.R. to Florida. He will be missed forever.

John and I met at MSU where we enjoyed a number of advertising and marketing classes together. We became good friends and over the years shared many good times. Always enjoyed his wit - he was so intelligent and sharp - you had to think fast to keep up with him! One of the brightest in the MSU School of Journalism and Advertising. John was a great friend for many years and suffered from residual effects of esophageal cancer. We shared many interests including jazz and spent a great evening at One Trick Pony two years ago during my visit to Grand Rapids. He was an extremely intelligent man who understood marketing and advertising very well. He was a talented writer and had many friends in the business. I last talked to John about four years ago. He told me that he had been suffering from lung cancer. I am glad to hear that he had a friend who would notify the community of his passing. May he rest in peace.

John was my friend too through Visiting Angels. I am sad to learn about his passing and would be interested to learn about his last days.
