Not sure what to say?

While I learned to love Baylor University during my four years there, I went there because of my respect and admiration for Coach John Bridgers. Although they couldn't remember knowing each other, both of my parents graduated from Auburn the same year as Coach Bridgers. An hour or two of hearing them relate Auburn experiences in our living room, along with Coach Bridgers' obvious sincerety and honesty, won over my whole family in one visit.

I grew up with Jenni, Penni and Missi in Waco and remember hearing about their grandparents, whom they loved, in New Mexico. I am sorry for your loss.

I was a student when Coach Bridgers came
to Baylor. I will always remember his positive
attitude and happy smile.
His style of football set the pace in college
football. It was exciting and we were winners.

I shall remember Coach Bridgers as a fine
coach but more inportantly a Christian
gentleman.

J.D. was my mother's first cousin. She is Mary Alice Sue Hildebrand Lell. They grew up together and I have heard many wonderful stories. I remember when he came to Miami for the Orange Bowl game while he was at Baylor. I also remember seeing him at the family reunion in Birmingham, AL.

My prayers go out to the immediate family in their bereavement.
