Not sure what to say?

I knew Allen at Huntsville High School in the 1960´s. As my mother, Barbara Thames, continued to live in Huntsville (I moved away to CA), Allen helped my mother and me with several legal issues. He was always kind, fun, and helpful. It was clear he was a friend to many. He never lost his charm and commitment to his family. It was always a joy to see him and work with him. He was "can do" all the time. I was shocked and saddened to here of his death. His death will surely leave a hole...

Melissa and family - we are so sorry for you loss and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers . Laura and Donnie Newman

I have known Allen for many years ... his kids and mine were in school together all the way from Jones Valley to Huntsville High. He always had a smile for everyone. My thoughts are with Melissa and the entire Brinkley family. Hope they will find comfort in their special memories with Allen.

Melissa, my love and prayers are with you. May the good Lord hold you and your family in his loving arms. We will all miss Allen!

Allen was a very dear friend of our family. He will be missed. May God comfort the Brinkley family.

I knew Allen for over 50 years. We played football against each other in high school and graduated from law school together. I really did not get to know him until we both relocated to Huntsville in the 70s. He was a great lawyer and a better person. Never knew him to say an unkind word about anyone. Always helpful and considerate. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Brinkley Family, I send my heartfelt condolences to the family. Please know your family is in my hearts and prayers. Sincerely, Jane Kathryn Bentley
