Not sure what to say?

With sympathy from all of us at the University of West Florida Retiree Employee Association.

I have fond memories of Captain Broach, the commander of C Company, (medical company) 172nd Support Battalion, 172nd Arctic Light Infantry Brigade, Alaska. He had the respect of his soldiers and took care of them. He was a good example to a young 2nd lieutenant, he had my respect. He was a good leader, and enjoyable person. May God bless and watch over Norma and the family. - John Abshier

Jack always had a smile! Stopping by the Post Office here at UWF was a pleasure because most of the time I could count on some great conversation! Jack will be missed greatly.

So sorry for your loss. Keeping your family in my prayers. Jack was such a kind person. I enjoyed working with him throughout the years at UWF.

Jack was one of my most favorite people I've ever met in this world. He hired me to take over for him at UWF Postal and Passport services. He was like a father to me (I lost my dad when I was a child) I've kept in touch with him through calls and emails but they became more and more infrequent as he struggled to talk. He has changed me for the better just by knowing him and wanting to please him seeking his approval. There was nothing he loved more than his family and being a great strong...

My condolences to you, Norma and your family. Many years ago we all worked together at Bellas Hess. My husband, Frank, also knew Jack from Spring Hill College where they were in the Pershing Rifles. We are thinking of you and your family.

Dan and I were so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I know from my lovely daughter-in-law Becky what a wonderful husband and dad he was. We are thinking of you all.
