I have taken the liberty of sending notice of Mr. Broaddus’ death to Static Line, the Airborne newspaper, where it will be posted in the TAPS column so that his fellow paratroopers may know of his passing and render a final salute.

Mrs Broaddus, Russell, Randy and Marla - I am saddened to learn of the loss of your husband & father. You were our neighbors for 20 years when we lived on fiesta and have remained our friends since - i will always have very fond memories of his warm smile and gentle manner. I could not have had a nicer neighbor and family to grow up next to. My prayers are with you all.

Dear, Broaddus fam, Thank you very much for leting me care for Mr. Broaddus. The little time that i knew him i really liked and enjoyed being there with him. He was a very good and funny man. I took a couple of history classes taught by Mr. Broaddus. I was always impressed by his knowledge and passion for the topic at hand.
