Not sure what to say?

My condolences and prayers are with the family at this time. Mr Brock was a man who earned the love and respect of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

John Massey, Eddie and families; Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. In the short time I worked for John Massey Jr., I got to know Mr. Brock. He was the quintessential gentleman farmer. I have missed his stories. He was a wonderful and kind man. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Alfred J. Duncan,Jr. June 14, 2010
I remember Mr. Brock as a purser for the Jamestown/Scotland Ferry System, when I worked there in past years. Also I remember him from Bacon's Castle Baptist Church, when my Dad, Rev. Alfred Duncan,Sr would preach there. My thoughts & prayers are with the family. God bless all of you during this time.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. I got to know Mr. John as a teen when I stayed at Scotland each summer with my aunt and uncle, Ruby & Ward Tynes. Mr John would let us ride the ferry all day if we wanted to, but after a few rides we had to check in with him and then ride again later. He always had a smile and seem to really enjoy his job. He was a real joy to know .
I also got to see him years later much to my surprise at a shower for Sterling Crocker, we had a long chat...

Eddie

We are so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Eddie and Darlene,
My condolences across the miles to both of you and your families. I always knew I would be smiling when in Mr. Brock's presence because of his humerous and kind personality. I'm glad I had a chance to experience this, if only a few times, over the years.

My thoughts go back to John in his "Purser" days on the ferries, he made many friends there and was a friend to all. He will be missed.
