John Paul Brophy

John Paul was an incredibly kind, gracious man. Truly a gem to be around and I treasure my time with him. We worked together and had many lovely discussions about life while seated at our desks at the old Salt Lake Tribune building and many more from across the bar at the Dead Goat. Quick wit. Welcoming smile. Serious intellect. A great man and I miss him. All the best to his family and friends from his brother from another mother.

I remember John Paul as a whimsical, intellectual and humorous fellow when we served time together on the Night Crew at NAC in the early 70's. He was always up for adventure and a spirited discussion...usually about music.
