Read MoreI've been thinking about Bob ever since Christmas. I was a skinny track star at CHS, and Bob was a star football player. We didn't really get to know each other then, but I had the good fortune of exchanging words at the 50th year CHS reunion. We connected like old friends despite time passing. Today, Bob will be at peace from suffering, and I hope the same for all family members and friends.

Still hard to wrap my head around Bob having gone home. He and so many are having a great reunion, I am sure. Having known him since kindergarten, it was great getting to see him at 40th reunion after all these years. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Bobby Brundage has been part of my life since I was four year old. He is the first "brother" of those precious people that I, as an only child, grew up with from 4 through 12th grade, that has passed. It really hurts. I remember him as a freckle-faced all boy football players of warmth and sensitivity and humor, a guy that all the girls always loved.
