Not sure what to say?

Dear Tracy, Sammy, Maggie and Jake,

We just heard in a letter from Corinne Anderson about John. We are so sorry to hear this news. We have many fond memories of you all as our neighbors when we lived at 51 N.Ridge Rd in Lake Forest. We pray that your broken hearts will be healed as you remember what a loving husband and father John was.

i am truly sorry for your loss

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I remember the time that we were at Woodfield at Marshall Field's on the second floor. My brothers, John, Jim and John B. spotted a boa constrictor on the first floor. The boys had their pictures taken with the snake draped over their shoulder. Jim said, "He's hugging me." (I just shuddered but the boys absolutely LOVED it.) My mother had a second photo made and gave it to Mrs. Bruning for mother's day. I brought that photo to John B.'s rehearsal dinner and all the boys remembered it...

Dear Sammy, Maggie and Jake:
Your dad was something special. Cherish the time you had with him; take comfort from his friends' memories; embrace your mom; and know you are loved and supported by everyone who loved John.

I often think of Johnny when my kids and I jump on our trampoline, because I was fortunate to jump with Johnny on his "tramp" whenever I wanted to, for the lucky years I got to be his neighbor.
I remembered Johnny again last week as I was planning to send my son out to find some frogs. I smiled to myself, remembering the elation I felt those times that Johnny invited me to find crayfish in the creek behind his house. He was really focused, and enthusiastic, and energetic,...

John's passing was definitely a shock. Although I had not seen John in probably 20 years he's time here will not be forgotten by those who knew him. From Middle Fork to NTW and Jr. Curling bonspiels I have great memories of John and his family.

I regret I was out of town and missed visitation.

Tracy
I'm sadden to hear of John's passing. I counted him as a brother and friend. I will always remenber our days at Monmouth together. We didn't keep in touch too much but all my family and friends knew of him from the stories I would tell

Tracy and Family, I am very shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. Though I hadn't seen him since our days at ZBT/Monmouth, I have thought of him through the years remembering his care-free nature, and some of the truly crazy, fun times back then! I am so sorry for your loss.
