John~ Your love of trains touched many a neighbor on Torrance Ave... with your train room and train table and hat! Wow!
And when you visited us here in Cleveland, you arrived of course by Amtrak.
Know you are remembered at the sight or sound of a train.

To John, who filled my days with joy and laughter, who somehow caused my dogs to love him more than me, who enriched my life with his love of music, with his thoughtfulness and humor, and who came along in this life when I needed him most.....I am forever grateful.

Dear Johnny, a warm and tender soul. Passionate about the railroad, for sure! Adored life on Torrance Ave. of which he played a role. He was a great friend to grow up with! Rest In Peace, Johnny!

Very sad news for all that knew John. He was a very special person and friend. I consider myself very lucky for the time spent with him and knowing him. We had many of the same interests and had lots of fun discussing and participating in them as well. Will miss you dearly my friend.

Sad news. What a great guy. Only spent time with him a few times but felt as if we had known each other for years.

I met John as a customer of the store. It is true he was a very personable man. He Loved to talk whether it was me, customers or anyone willing to listen. He got to know everyone that was around him. He called several weeks ago as I was walking out the door; said he needed some sweaters and he'll catch up with me another time. Hopefully we meet again so I can hold him to it! Will be missed! GOD BLESS!
