Not sure what to say?

John enriched lives wherever he served. He was a man of grace; he was an encourager. He certainly encouraged me and showed grace to me and my family. I can hear his gentle way of talking and his easy laughter, always putting others at ease. Peggy, Mary Ryan, and Margaret, thank you for sharing John with thousands of folks all around this country and world who will always fondly remember him.

Dear Peggy,
I am so sorry to hear of John's death. I have such fond memories of your family's time with us in Darlington. John introduced me to the sacrament of confession. He instructed me and heard my first confession. He started me on a very meaningful spiritual practice. I have always been grateful to him for that.
Peace and blessings, Rosanne

Dear Peggy, Mary, Margaret, MaryElla and John:
Our heartfelt sympathy goes to you at the loss of your dear John. He was one of the warmest and most loving of men. He truly reflected the radiance that faith in Christ gives to us.
May He give you strength for the days ahead. You are in our prayers.
Lee and Elsie

Dear Peggy,

Bob and Jane wrote to tell me about Bishop John's death even before our diocese (Southern VA) sent word to all the clergy. I remember with gratitude and gladness your two years with us when +John was interim. Yours was a gracious presence. You're in my prayers now, as is he. May John go from strength to strength in God's prefect service!

Warmly,
Julia Dorsey

Dear Ones,
We are heart broken for your loss. And for all of us who will miss John. We have been so out of touch and now , we just want you to know that all of you are in our prayers and always in our hearts. We have our own precious memories and know that you will spend many days recounting special moments that will just pop into your head. We love you and will see you soon. Blessings, love Rick and Annie

Sending prayers for healing to all, with the firm knowledge that your father has heard Servant well done many times and that his service will continue in heaven.

Margaret and Family, I first knew your father when he was at St. James Church very early on in his life in the ministry. Through your friendship with my daughter I was reacquainted with he and your Mom. His story reflects an accomplished life well lived with great service to his Lord and love and devotion to family. Thinking of you and praying for peace.

I came to love and respect Bishop Buchanan so much. I just wish we could have worked together longer.

Peggy
Just spoke with Ben Legare, who is a dear Citadel Classmate of B, and I asked if he knew you and he informed me of your Husband's passing. I just wanted you to know that you are in our prayers. God Bless and bring you and your family Peace
