John Paul Buchanan Jr.

I graduated high school with Carolyn in 1966 and the two of us lived with her aunt and uncle in Southaven MS which borders Memphis TN. We went to business school together and I remember when she met John Paul so many years ago. He totally loved her from the very beginning! As life goes, we all went our separate ways due to school, jobs, marriage, etc. My best to Carolyn and the children.

A lovely man, husband, father, and friend to all has gone to be with our Savior.

Carolyn, Heather, John Paul and Amy, We were very sad to learn of John's passing. I am sure that you are feeling a huge hole in your hearts. John was such a wonderful man. He would do anything for you. We remember the time he roofed our house. What an experience! Chaperoning field trips from Central were always so much fun. After retiring from teaching, he and Mrs. Buchanan moved to Victoria Texas. Those who went to Central Middle School and Stillman Middle School may Remember him as a Social Studies teacher. He loved teaching and his family. There will not be any services at this time per his wishes. My mother misses her husband and we miss our father. He is no longer suffering. He is resting now.
