Not sure what to say?

Dear Lorraine, Pat and Jack, I just learned of your husband and father's passing. I wish I had known sooner. I want to tell you how terribly sorry I am. We were neighbors for many many years and though we haven't spoken recently you are all still in my heart.

Dear Mrs. Buchanan, Pat, Jack, and family: I learned of John's death when I passed the SFDS sign on Saturday - it said alumnus and friend. John was a friend to all and made everyone he met feel loved and welcome. It was an honor to know him, and your family.

dearest Lorraine I was so sorry to hear of John's death - I felt very close to him and he was the first person in city hall that I would turn to no matter what the issue. John was fun and great to be with - my love and prayers to you and your family - Tom

Dear Lorraine,

My deepest sympathy to you, Jack and Patricia on John's death. I was shocked to learn about it and sorry I couldn't be there. John was a great guy and not only my cousin but also my godfather. I regret that I didn't get to spend time with him when I lived in Chicago but did enjoy his sense of humor whenever we met at family get togethers. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Buchanan Family,

I was very sorry to hear of John's passing. I have many fond memories of interesting and informative conversations with him when I was a city employee. He set a great example for everyone and I was very proud to have known him. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We were so very sorry to hear of John's passing! We both knew John from back in the late 50's when we worked with him at Metropolitan Ins. Co. on 87th St. Always thought he was a very special man! Our condolences to you, Lorraine, and your Family.

Dear Great Aunt Lorraine,

Pete and I give you, Pat and Jack, our condolences durring your time of loss. Uncle John gave a lot to your community and im sure he will be missed. You are in our hearts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Buchanan family.

I appreciate the opportunity that John gave me to work in the Chicago City Council.

I learned a great deal from John in my three plus years on his staff.

We pray that his soul will rest in peace and that he will be granted eternal life with our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus Christ.

God Bless.

Dear Lorraine, Pat and Jack,
Our deepest sympathy to your family. John was a wonderful friend to our family who will be deeply missed. I'm so sad that I could not attend to give my regards to you all. Pat and Jack, your father was such a great man, who I as well looked to as my own. I will always treasure the fact that your father was my sponsor at my confirmation. It was a great honor for me.
With deepest sympathy,
Don, Maureen and Michael Honnessy
