Not sure what to say?

I have many wonderful memories of Dr. Buechel he was always so happy and kind. As a child I was afraid of every Doctor except for him. In fact the first time I went into his office and had to get a shot I passed out on the way out the door. He lovingly carried me back to the exam room. He also met us at an emergency room one New Year's Eve night in his tuxedo to stitch up my head. What I appreciate most is the care he gave my Dad and the way he allowed us all to sneak in and see him(even...

The Board of Directors of the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Ohio, along with the President and myself, extend our deepest sympathies to the Buechel family. Dr. Buechel served the medical profession well and duly devoted his efforts to the profession and the community. He shall be missed.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Dear Margie & Mary Ellen,
My Deepest Sympathies in the lose of your dear brother Jack.
I have many fond memories of our childhood days and family ties.
He was a handsome man and a nice one too.
God rest his soul
Cousin Loretta Cornyn Laile

Jack was our friend, our doctor and our son's godfather. When he moved to Solon to open his practice, we were one of the first people he got in touch with as my husband and Jack had known each other back in Pittsburgh. The last time I saw him, I had dinner with he and Carol. I send my sympathy to all the family, especially Carol who took such good care of him.

I have so many memories of Dr Buechel at our house on many special occasions. So many great memories. Of course, some painful ones, like visits with busted arms or sprained ankles, or shots with big needles. Our family has lost a great physician and even better friend.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Here is a comforting word from God, "Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you." (Matt 11:28) A thought for The Buechel Family.

While searching for a friends' obituary, I came across Dr. Buechel's obituary. In a way, I lost another friend. Dr. Buechel was my parents' doctor for many years and my own for a while. He has touched so many people during his career. I appreciated his sense of humor but yet his matter of fact approach. Even though he had retired, he was still thought of often. I send my sincere sympathy to the family.
