Not sure what to say?

I offer my deepest sympathy to the family. I knew Edna better that Johnny. I remember our last visit with her & Johnny in Alamogordo. I remember Evelyn Rae very well. She was such a sweet person and the loss of her and her children was a tragedy. Carolyn, you may not remember me. I was married to Alton Lenard, Edna's nephew. I remember you. I was impressed by your courage in facing the aftermath of such a tragedy. May God bless each member of the family and comfort you.

Deepest sympathies to all the Buie family. Although we were unable to attend Uncle Johnny's services, we have special memories of his 99th birthday party last year, and all the Buie family reunions in Cloudcroft and Alamogordo. He never changed--always had a story to share! When I was very young and we visited the Buie Grandparents, Uncle Johnny always gave me pennies - you could buy a lot of candy with a penny! He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Betty...

Deepest sympathies to the Buie's family and relatives. He was our neighbor, we also remember his wife with fondnest, at last they will be together again. I will miss seeing him in his front yard cutting the grass and trimming what my husband and I named the bom bom bush that sits by the mail box. He will be missed!

Carolyn: Our deepest sympathy for your loss and that of the whole Buie family. You were so very near and dear to John and Edna. Now they are together again. Peace be with you and your family.

Our love and prayers are with you at this diffcult time.

I remember John Buie with great fondness. He was my great uncle on my Grandma Lenard's side of the family. Edna Buie was my grandmother's sister. I would get to see both of them during family reunions and other get togethers. Although it has been many years since I have seen him, I will always remember him fondly. My thoughts are with each of you during this time.

My deepest sympathies goes out to the Buie Family. I wish I was able to be there, but you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

PEACE, PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS!

Janice Buie Weeg (Chester's daughter; John's deceased brother)
