Not sure what to say?

Uncle John was my beloved Great Uncle. We shared the same birthday and he always said that great people were born on September 10th. Of him that was very true. Some of my favorite memories of him were about his humor and kindness to me. He always called my sister and I the prettiest girls in town and of any boy we dated he would say, "what's a pretty girl like you doing with that ol' ugly fellow?" I still smile thinking of that. When he would visit us he'd joke and say how lucky we were to...

JOHN WAS SUCH A FUN, CARING AND SPECIAL PERSON. HIS BROTHER (C.W.)IS
MARRIED TO MY SISTER AND THEREFORE, HE WS ALWAYS IN ATTENDANCE AT OUR ANNUAL FAMILY-REUNIONS. JOHN'S SMILE WOULD LIGHT UP THE ROOM WHEN HE WALKED IN THE DOOR AND HE LOVED HIS EXTENDED FAMILY AND HIS LORD. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM AND WHOSE LIVES HE TOUCHED BY HIS GENEROSITY AND LOVE FOR OTHERS.
GOD BLESS YOU C.W. AND FAMILY. WE'LL SEE HIM AGAIN IN HEAVEN!

I have some wonderful memories of working with John. When you were around him he seemed to make every day a little brighter.

John always had a kind word and a smile. I will miss seeing, and talking with him. My prayers will be with the Family and other Friends.

My two grandsons and I moved next door to John just over ten years ago. Not one day has passed (that we were all at home) that John didn't ride by in the mornings and throw up his hand. Nor did ever an occassion pass that if we met at the road or mailbox, he didn't have a smile and something sweet to say, I think the last thing that he said to me as he giggled one morning was "you sure do have a lot of garbage" and we really do! I didn't know John real well, visited his home a couple of times...
