Sorry for the loss of your loved one. Mr John was a well respected man . May God Bless and give you all as a family strength in knowing ' he's in the best of hands' . Our Lords. God Bless .

John and I worked at KCOR-TV in the middle 50's The first spanish language station in san antonio,.....John was the cameraman at that time.I was able to learn a lot from him before he left for KENS.As I remember his Mom also worked there. In later years I worked for an electronic supply co.,and I used to wait on him. A very honest friend. God be with him. .

What a wonderful man your husband and dad was. He could bring a smile to your face on any given day. I always enjoyed being around him and your entire family at the different parties you always have. My family has such fond memories of "Big John" being our special Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. He'd come up the front walk way shouting Ho Ho Ho. The children would rush to the door and he came in to visit, sing carols and hand a gift to each child. I can still see that twinkle in his eye!...

Our Condolences to Barbara and Family...
John was a great friend and fellow Television Engineer.

Bertha and I remember BIG JOHN fondly. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Barbara & family, my condolences to you and your family on John's passing. He was a real gentleman and friend... he and my dad enjoyed visiting when we spent time at your home for your anniversary and for some other occasions. May God look down on you and bless all of you with the great memories John has left behind.

Barbara and family it saddened me to learn of the passing of a wonderful man and great friend. I First met "BIG JOHN" in 1964, when I started work at KENS TV 5. John was a mentor, a good friend, great supervisor, and I learned a lot for from him. We worked together for 30 plus years till he retired I think in 1995. I will be for ever grateful to him for all his help.

My wife June and I will truly miss him.
My God love you all.

I'm sad to learn of John's passing.
I enjoyed working with John for 10 years at KENS-TV.
