I'm sorry for your loss. I was a student of Dr. Burr around 1990 and I saw him in the musical "Fiorello!" at the Grand a couple years later. He was a good man who always had a smile on his face.

What a wonderfully talented intelligent man , friend and individual! My memories are filled with John´s quick wit and life lessons. His theatric roles as Mr.Lundie in Brigadoon and Mayor LaGuardia for local musics were epic. It was such an honor to be in his presence both onstage and off.
