I am so sorry that I did not know of Jack's passing in time to attend his wake or funeral. On behalf of my Mom and myself ( we are all that is left of the family you all knew ) I would like to express our deepest symthany. For sure the "Butterfield's" and the rink in West Springfield truly was a fond part of my life as well as my brother's. I can't think of my brother without thinking of David as well.

So sorry for your loss, you and Mr Butterfield were a big part of my growing up, with all the events and gathering attended with my parents. You were all such good friends. I remember all the Indians games I attended with his tickets. He is a man that will be remembered by many as very generous and caring.
I am glad he was able to enjoy the little bit of Canada I sent up last year with the papers, and cookies.
