I love this man so much. John has been such a loving inspiration and positive role model in my life. He was always tell me about his family and how much he loves you all. Christmas and holidays were his specialty. We spent a lot of Easters together in NYC and he took me to the top of the WTC for the first time which was my childhood dream. I lived two doors from John here at Palermo and shared many glasses wine and conversation with him over the years. A kind, funny, sweet man who sure knew how decorate a Christmas tree. I will miss him. Blessings dear John.

To say that I am in shock and saddened at John's passing is an understatement. John had such a joy of life that was so infectious to all who met or knew him, including myself. John was a beautiful man and loving spirit. When he spoke with you, you knew he was 'there' with you and genuinely listened and cared. He will be greatly and deeply missed. The neighborhood here in Palermo will never be the same without seeing his ever-present smile and robust laugh.
