An Irish Poem

Death leaves a heartache
No one can heal
Love leaves a memory
No one can steal

My prayers and sympathy are with each of you during this time of sorrow.
I will always remember John as a very thoughtful and intelligent man.
He makes me proud my name is Byrne.

Billie Jean (Byrne) Rightmire
Daughter of William Herbert Byrne (1901 to 1975)
Wife of Donald Rightmire (1930 to 2008)

I am glad that John was part of my life experience. He taught me a lot about life and hunting. I have a thousand stories that make me smile and John was there. So glad to be a part of experiences. I still think about him. He will truly be missed. Love and support during these times.

Jim, my sincere condolences for the loss of your dad. He was indeed the voice of organized labor and I had a deep respect for his beliefs.

John was a class act. He was a true labor leader who cared about all labor. United we stand divided we fall. God bless him and his family. Pat Sanderson a lifelong laborer.

John Byrne: a man that never judged and had the most infectious smile with unbelievable lovingkindness to everyone he came in contact with. Oh how we will miss his wonderful humor and best laughter. Oh what a special human being. So grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing him. We love him much.

My sincere condolences to John's family and friends.

This man was the greatest person I ever met. He was a Brother to not only my father but countless more. If you needed help he was there and if he could not provide it he knew who could. He was a rock to us all. We greatly miss this kind, gentle man.
