Not sure what to say?

John and I worked together in the Post Office. He was a great leader as well as a good friend. He made our time working together fun and he taught me a lot about leadership as well as friendship. I will miss him greeting me at the VA and I will always remember his distinctive laugh.

I will always remember John. He was a dear comrade and good friend to me. As a senior technician on our Lance Evaluation Team, he was an outstanding example of a dedicated soldier and a true professional. His interest, positive attitude and friendship have earned him the respect and trust of all members of our team. I will miss him as a friend. My deepest condolences go out to his wife Ute and his family. Helmut Wirth Oberstabsfeldwebel a.D. German Army

Uncle John(Junie ) we called you. We loved you and your family . I´ll miss our talks . Thank you for being a good brother to our mother . Praying for Ute & Jenna . Much love always

I had the pleasure working along side John within the VA Clinic volunteer program. John was a friend to all! John was beloved by staff and Veterans alike and will be greatly missed. He had a passion for continuing to serve his fellow Veterans. His commanding presence lit up the atrium when he recognized the service of WWII Veterans. To John's family, please accept my condolences and prayers in your loss. Rest if Peace John! It was an honor to have you as a friend and volunteer!

I will always remember John´s kindness to his fellow Veterans when he volunteered at the VA clinic. He always had a smile and laugh to cheer people up. I will miss him as a fellow Veteran and friend. Our thought and prayers go out to Ute and his family. Eddie Adelman
