Rev. Dr. John Caddey

I was a "kid" straight out of college when I began my employment journey at "the home." It was apparent that Reverend Caddey had vision, a love of mission, and an honest desire to help make the world a better place. He had a love of the Lord and the truest principles of Christianity. Having been involved with donor activities, he was admired and respected by our supporters; he could really relate to people and make them feel extraordinary. I have two favorite memories of Rev. Caddey....

Dr. Caddey was a beloved friend and mentor. He and Rochelle were so good to us for the 12 years I served at BCH and we faithfully stayed in touch in the years that followed our move to MD. We enjoyed having Holden Beach in common, as John and I honeymooned there and we even had a house there for a few years that I believe the Caddey family stayed in one summer.
