You were our CO after Captain Olsen retired from Mellon. Made several ALPATs. Great CO. Remember the flying squad? I still think of you from time to time. Thank you for your service. Great man and we are at a loss. My condolences to a great man's family.

My family sends it condolences and prayers for strength at this time of your loss. My fondest memory of Jack was when I was 7 years old and he took me out on the Coast Guard Cutter in Panama City, Florida for my 7th birthday, complete with cake and the crew singing happy birthday! An amazing man, father, friend and husband. Jack will be well remembered by us all and his memory will live on.

R.I.P. Capt. Jack, it was an honor serving under you as XO on CGC Rockaway, and as fellow Smith Voyager rescuer.

Please accept my heart felt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort strengthen you at this time of sadness. May Gods promise for the future bring you peace. Hosea 13:14

Capt. Jack, I am so proud to have known you here on this earth. God bless you and your family.

Fair Winds and following seas Captain we have the con now. YNC J. D. Burns

We share your grief and pray for guidance and healing for you and the family. I have found a belated mentor in Capt Jack from his comments through the Sea Vets and private messaging. I know he is at peace and watching over us as we take the helm of life until we meet again in the eternal Cutter, calm seas and infinite vision. God Bless all of you.
