Not sure what to say?

Ms. Bernice, I just heard about Dr. Campbell's death, and he will be missed!

Love,
Bonnie Gillenwaters Edwards

We offer our condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of John. We remember him most from the anual Woodlawn High School reunions. He was the best dancer, proven by the fact that all the girls who loved to dance, kept him busy. He was also the best joke teller, and kept every one in stitches. He was literally, the life of the party! Those fun filled days will be remembered as long as we live, and we will miss him, along with many other old classmates, who have entered the gates of...

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Campbell kids and their families. I will always remember Dr, Campbell's big smile and how much fun I always had with all of you.

I would like to take a moment to thank those of you who came to the visitation and/or the service for my Daddy, Dr. John "Doc" Campbell. It meant more than I could ever put into words. The kind words in the guest books, flowers, food, thoughts and prayers have all warmed my heart and have and will continue to help in the healing. I am honored to be the "baby" daughter of such a wonderful man you all thought so much of. It was wonderful to see those of you who I haven't seen in years, as well...

TO THE FAMILY OF DR. JOHN CAMPBELL: WE WERE SHOCKED TO HEAR OF DR CAMPBELL'S DEATH. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. DR CAMPBELL WAS A WONDERFUL CHRISTIAN AND HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF US. LOVE, JAMES AND MARTHA BAUGH, RACHEL B. STREETMAN

I know that all Dr. John's friends at Auburn will miss him very much, as will I. I also know he was a wonderful inspiration to all his Family. My love and prayers go out to all of you.

My Grandfather, John "Big Daddy" Campbell will live on in the hearts and lives of his family. He was one of the best men I have ever known. I miss him with all of my heart...

Doc Campbell ws an integral part of my athletic success at Auburn. He will be missed greatly.

Dr. Campbell will be missed so much. I have such fond memories of him though that I am sure they will fill my every thought of him and take away the loss I feel now. Bernice, you are a wonderful person and your faith has helped you so much that you have given me the strength to just remember Dr. Campbell's goodness.
