John Cannady YARDVILLE - John Cannady, 66, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, prior to moving to Yardville over 25 years ago. John was a "relocation technician" who drove a tractor trailer for Pathmark for 30 years. He enjoyed trips to Florida, model trains, the Neighborhood Card Club and, most of all, spending time with his family. John was beloved by family and friends for his outgoing personality and great sense of humor. Son of the late Salvatore and Marguerite Cannady, he is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Angelina F. Cannady (nee Sorrentino); his three children, John and Samuel Cannady, both of Yardville, and Maria Cannady and longtime boyfriend, Anton Lueker, of Bordentown Township; his brother, Michael Cannady and his wife, Nora, of Elizabeth, NJ; several-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Rd, Yardville, NJ. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Tuesday evening 6 to 9 p.m. and again Wednesday morning 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association of N.J., 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.
