John J. Canning

My husband, Dan Monahan, and I met John and Rene through our memberships at The National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach and Lost City Golf Club in Atlantis, Fl. We shared the love of sports and enjoyed attending social functions with them. Dan was able to play golf with John just a short time before he passed. John was a good friend and classmate at SMHS. John always had a warm smile and an upbeat personality. We played basketball together and he had a very competitive nature. This helped drive to wonderful success in his business career. In recent years we got together for several interactions which I will truly remember and cherish. RIP Big John.
