Not sure what to say?

I was his Secretary for years. John was one in a million. Good man and so dedicated to the Kaiser Permanete Foundation Health Plan. He supported you no matter what your level of workplace you were in. That is what made him so special to the employees .. He always had an ear if you addressed him. He was the wind beneath everyone's wing. Never forget you John. Kaiser was so lucky to have you.

John was a sound leader who cared, not only for the Kaiser Permanente Program but for the employees and staff. He has been sorely missed and did a fine job building the enduring foundation that even today makes KP great. May he be remembered!!

I was so lucky to be John Capener's secretary for many years. He made a difference in my life and I will always remember his kindness. This is a sad time and my thoughts are with Barbara and his wonderful family. To sum it up "he was one in a million."

Vi and I offer our deepest sympathy to Barbara and family. Working with John was always a pleasure because of his knowledge and objectivity in problem solving.

John was a great influence in my life at Kaiser Permanente. He will be remembered by me and my family as a great family man and inspirational leader through difficult times in corporate life. My wife, Alice and I offer the Capener family our prayers and love during this time of their loss.

John was a prince of a man and a wonderful boss during the time he was Health Plan manager in the Northern California Region of Kaiser Permanente. I will never forget his kindness to me, his integrity, and his sense of humor. My condolences to his wonderful family.
