John E. Caponegro

My sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. Caponegro. I'm sorry I am just learning now of his passing! This makes me so sad! He was such a wonderful teacher!! I failed the music test in elementary school to get an instrument I wanted so I got private lessons to play the flute. I told Mr Caponegro and he had me audition to join the schools band! Mr. Caponegro was my elementary orchestra teacher and was responsible for introducing me to the best parts of my life - music. Music was the gift he gave that has forever changed my life for the better. I am saddened by his loss and my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
