John Carey

I remember John Carey when I worked at AMD - he married a lovely girl by the name of Terry who also worked at AMD......old memories!

John was a great leader. He did a lot of thinking
while walking after lunch or dinner. He was always interest in what you thought... a likeable fellow who cared and looked for inspiration in others.

I worked for Johns Mother and Father for many years and on several occasions met John Terry and their young family. John was a wonderful Son and Jack and Winnie would light up when ever they spoke of him , and would always gush with pride when they would tell me of all the wonderful ways John was helping change technology in the workplace . I always remember him as a polite and interesting person. God Bless the family at this sad time. Lyn Bassnett

The Carey family was a huge presence in our life for many years.....very fond memories that we hold dear. It would be hard to replace John Carey! The Miner's hat ( with light) as he laid a brick pathway at night; the walkabouts in his garden, his great laugh............
