I was so sorry to hear about your brother’s death. I knew Jack back in the late 50’s and early 60’s, when Alex and Jack moved from Ballet Russe and opened the Cleveland Ballet Center. I took classes there and danced with the company until I left for New York in 1962.

John had a soft heart although at times it was hard to see. He had a soft spot for animals. One time he saw a cat at Vacation Clubs in Cancun that only had three leggs and felt sorry for it, with my help we brought this cat to Cleveland ..to our surprice that cat was pregnant. When he lived on Blanche he had atleast 20 cats that would come for dinner.

He also enjoyed "The Card Gallery" in downtown Cleveland, where he and I met a lot of great people coming in the store, for some it was...
