My sincere sympathy to all of the Carl family. I often saw John when I would be in Denver to see Mary McCann, and feel especially blessed to have seen him in August when he had breakfast with my daughter Meg, Mary Mc and I.

I am so sorry for your loss. You must have felt so fortunate to have John as an important part of your lives. Though I knew John only during our high school years, he was one who held a special place in my memories. His smile and laughter made others feel at ease. He was a special individual!

Momma, Cretia and Daniel are gonna miss you. What a joy you brought to our lives. You are one of only a very few who know me (Roger) inside and out. We regret that we were not able to spend more time with our witty, gernerous and lovely friend in Denver. My sincere condolences to all of John’s family. I know you will miss your brother and uncle very much. He held dear his family and friendships and always asked of others in a caring manner.

John was so sincere, yet had such a good strong laugh that was contagious to all those around him. He kept us laughing and we always enjoyed ourselves in his company.

I was so saddened with his severe health issues and have thought of him so often over these last few years....
