Not sure what to say?

I miss him nearly every day

Jeff and Kim, In the aviation business there's an expression to mark the passing of those who have known the personal joy of flying. To your Mom and Dad, we wish them "fair skies and tailwinds on their final flight west." They were wonderful people.

My mother was Dr. Carlson's nurse from the time he opened his practice until she retired. He was a very big part of her life and of our family's lives. (Jeff was the ring-bearer in my wedding. Mom did a European tour with the Carlsons and Marcia's mom.) He was a wise man who could always be counted on for sage advice and excellent care. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kim and Jeff and their families. He will be missed.

I met Dr. Carlson in the Doctors Lounge at Sarasota Memorial. He exemplified the true character of a great man and physician. What a jewel. He will be sadly missed at the Sarasota County Medical Society.

Dr. Carlson became our family doctor in July 1967 and remained our doctor until he retired. He was a fantastic doctor to both of us
and our children and granddaughter. He will be missed forever.

Dr. Carlson will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss him dearly.

Dr. John was my doctor since I was born. He was a long-time family friend and handball buddy. He was always kind, extremely smart, and he will be dearly missed.

Warmest wishes to his children.

Kim and Mike, Jeff and Dawn, May God continue to strengthen you through this ordeal. You have the comfort knowing your Dad and Mom lived an exemplary, fulfilled life. Our community and friends will miss them a lot. Jim & Susan and Tollerton family

So sorry to hear Dr Carlson passed away, my thoughts are with his family. I was a long time pt as were my children.
