To the Carmody Family: My prayer go out to you in these sad times.
Larry Turner and Carlene Williams

John was so welcoming. You always felt that he was glad to see you. He passed on his love of Irish ceili & set dancing to many of us. Thanks John. We'll keep a ninth spot open for you in the set.

To the Carmody Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

The Milwaukee Set Dancers remember your wonderful father. We enjoyed his graceful dancing and kind heart.

We will miss our dear Uncle Jack. Rest in Peace.
Love Ann, Phil, Brian, and Kevin

A dear friend and teacher who gave so much to so many people. I will forever remember your kind smile. Many years ago, I showed up at Gaelic Park with my cousin Keith O'Neill looking to dance the Sets - it was John and Nancy Carmody who took us aside and so patiently taught us. John always made us feel a part of the Ceili and Set Dancing family at Gaelic Park. What a positive impact you have had on so many people! You will be very missed.

Uncle Jack's last visit to South Carolina
