Jack gave something of himself to everyone he met and I'm not sure he was even aware of the gifts he imparted. His natural ease, great wit and genuine warmth made him unforgettable and a member of those counted in a very special breed of ever narrowing ranks. It seems trite to say they aren't made like that anymore but truth still resides in stale cliches. Another one of the good ones has gone and he shall be sorely missed.
