Mrs.Carraway and Family:
Please accept our sincere condolences upon the passing of John. As young Christians in the 1970's, John's strong witness for our Lord increased our faith. There is no telling how many lives were blessed with his work with the Gideons. Praise God that we will see out friends and loved ones again in the Kingdom of God. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will strengthen and sustain you during this time of bereavement.
God Bless you,

I was saddened to read about the passing of your beloved relative and friend, John Carraway. If it weren't for John, I would not have been a member of Pearsall Memorial Presbyterian Church for 14 years friom 1979 to 1993. He and his wife befriended me, a complete stranger, at the church's October homecoming service in 1979 when I was searching for a church home. You have my deepest sympathy. John, you fought the good fight. Now RIP.
