Not sure what to say?

It was a long journey on vinyl bench seats through dry brush. I cannot remember its exact location, just somewhere in the hills about Santa Rosa. It was the highlight of every visit, Grandpa’s trip with the Joel, Michelle and I up to the trout farm. It was well hidden in the mountains, with large trees hanging over the circular pond that was teeming with fish. Even as a young child, I knew how special my grandpa was, just by the way he was greeted. The old men at the farm welcomed him...

Poppy, you have been such a huge person in my life. Some of my fondest memories are when you would give me a dollar, then take it and put it behind your back, fiddle with it for a while, and viola! You would give me two dollars, I never could figure out how you did it. Or when at every Birthday, Holiday, and Party you would tell me your cake smelled funny, so I would smell it and you would stick my face in it. The annoying thing was that I fell for this prank until I was about twelve. I...

To a man whose presence brought happiness and smiles when you walked in the room and frowns and tears when when I would see you leave. You have left my world with an imprint that will remain in my memories forever. There has never been a day when i didnt think of you of wish I was sitting next to you as I have done for so many years. So many memories, Paradise was the best place on earth when I was a kid. Sitting on your lap and you letting me take the wheel until we almost drove in a...

Well Pop you're the only man alive who could pat my wife on the posterior and get away with it....of course you had to run like heck. You were also the man my wife and daughter couldn't wait to dance with when the music started(along with all the other women at the party). You sure did love a party. The good times were too many to count, the bad times seem insignificant, and the feelings we are left with are wonderful. Jeff and Pat have listed many events and moments that stand out in my...

my poppy was an amazing person.
i am not really sure about my emotions and how i will feel when i finally realize that he is gone. But, even though, he has left me and my rather large, abundant family behind in body, he will be, in some way, a part of all of us.
some things i remember are: when i was 2, 3, and all the way up to age 11, poppy would always find time to walk me around the block, whether i was riding my little red tricycle, roller blading, or promanoding arm in arm...

The last of the Cassa Bros, Pino Noir 1938

John was a great guy that taught me to appreciate abundant gardens and family. It did not matter what your race or creed was, we were all Italians when around John. He will be missed.

Our family camping trips are my most frequent remembrance of Pop. From our early trips to Lake Tahoe where we discovered "Lady Bug Beach" to the grand reunion at Lake Shastina where we played cross country bocce-ball and everyone had to perform a song or story during the evening campfire; Pop knew how to make everyone welcome.

We would go to Memorial Park with Ray, Arlene, Bill, Patti and Donnie Vorce. Pop and Ray would string extension cords together so they could hook up to the...
