John Norris Casselberry

John and I were classmates at The Citadel in the same cadet company and were Summerall Guards together.

John was a thoughtful and kind man. All of his G Company classmates received a Christmas card from John every year since we graduated in 1974. He visited with me and my family in the 1990's and had not changed a bit. I am sure that the community of Casselberry has been blessed by John's spirit over the years.

John and I were classmates at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. We were in G Company which was our fraternity. As freshmen we all went through the rigors of being Knobs in the Fourth Class System. In our junior year many of us tried out for the Summerall Guards which is one of the premier military drill units in the United States. John made it; I did not.
