Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Sincere condolences and prayers for fr John with his good brother Frank. How they loved golf and Ireland. May he rest in peace!
Fr Ed McKenna

I remember Father Cassidy from St Rafael's early 60's when I was alter boy. Each year Father Cassidy brought alter boys to Notre Dame. What great memories! Because of this experience, still die hard fan of Notre Dame!! Thank you Father Cassidy!

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Fr. John was a good man of God. My John's chemo begins Wed. He is not allowed in crowds. Our prayers are with you both. May God console you.
Fondly, John and Alice

Father Cassidy was a kind and gentle man. Years ago, he came every First Friday to give my late mother Communion and always had time to sit and share. He would let her know when he was going on vacation and when he came back would share how he and his brother played golf. He will be missed at Saint Daniel's. Nona Szczawinski Cervenka

Thank you for visiting our handicap son awhile back, and giving him words of encouragement to go on living. You touched our hearts, and souls. Rest in Peace. Walters Family, Oak Brook, IL

I knew John and his brother Frank for decades starting at Quigley and Mundelein and afterwards. May the angels lead you into paradise

Fr. Cassidy married my husband and myself 51 years ago at S. Raphael's Church. He was a wonderful priest. May you rest in peace. Bill & Virginia Geinosky

May our Risen Lord grant Eternal Rest on Father Cassidy. Father Cassidy was the kindness man, always available in times of need especially, for St. Daniel's people and he never forgot those parishoners even when they moved out of the Parish. He visited the sick and shut-in's regularly. He was always available for those in need. A priest that should be recommended for sainthood!
