Dear MaryAnn, Brad, and Karen,

You probably don't remember me; I am Milton McDowell's daughter, which makes me a cousin of sorts. I was very close to John's parents, Jack and Alicia, and spent many happy holidays with them.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of John. Our family always looked forward to the creative messages he sent at Christmas. I know he will be greatly missed.
