Not sure what to say?

I am John's cousin from Ma and I hope he rests in Peace. Passed away on my birthday. I wish I had the chance to meet everyone. I met Uncle John at my father's funeral. Very nice man. God bless

I was looking to find out when my brother John Vincent Cavanaugh had died. I saw this obituary and said," I think this is my cousin John. My brother was named after his uncle John from Reno. I think he was with a Johanna when I was little. Was this John's Father from Newton Ma? John Vincent had 3 brothers and 7 sisters. If anyone reads this let me know. John the son passed on My Birthday Dec 10th 2020. If it is small world and I think I have good memory. I also got in touch with Uncle...

It was a sad day when I read of John's passing. I had the privilege of working for John as the GDW Television Marketing coordinator for 7 years in the 1990's. John was a generous man who gave me excellent financial advise as well as letting me drive his Ferrari! I will never forget him.

JJ, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. All my sympathies are with you and your family. Keep your memories close by.

It was my good fortune to meet John Cavanaugh several years ago. I visited him monthly for several years, and our discussion quickly went from his medical care, to our common experiences and acquaintances in Tonopah, Reno, and rural Nevada. He was quite a historian, story teller, and generous man. We talked frequently of his childhood in Tonopah, his business ventures, and his family. I know he will be missed and remembered by many, as he journeys on the path of souls.

John was quite a man. I worked for him in the late 70s early 80s . times were tough at both Gold dusts but he always took care of his employees with his witt and a 50.00 dollar bill just because. You will always be remembered John.
Love to the family. God Bless.

This morning I was so shocked to read of John’s passing, words cannot adequately express how much I admired John’s accomplishments and innovations in the gaming business, development business, and his un published generosity to our community. I want to wish all of his family my sincere condolences. He was one of the most “Stand-up” guys I have ever called my friend. Reno has lost one of it’s best.
