Not sure what to say?

The passing of my brother,Jackie, and the outpouring of love all of you have shown my family has deeply humbled us. While on earth Jackie couldn't be everywhere although he tried, didn't he? Now in the afterlife, I feel certain Jackie walks with each of us, reminding us to give of ourselves as he did.
God Bless - he always wrote that on my birthday cards, now I send it out to all of you. God Bless.

I knew Jack only by sight at Van Horn Park in the early Sixties, but later worked with him and David at the Union Market, 1968-9. In the ensuing years,we bumped into each other once or twice on the Hill. Jack was kind, reliable, and had a healthy streak of mischief in him. I'm sorry for everyone's loss.

To the family of Jack Cawley:
My condolences on your loss. I worked in the newsroom of The Republican with Jack and I always found him to be a quiet, hardworking, gentle person. I did not know him well but I know he was highly regarded. He always had a smile and a thoughtful nod to his co-workers. He was a calming and comforting presence. He will be missed.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved Jackie. I hope the following will bring smiles. A few months ago I was rummaging through some old things and found a very old autograph book. In 1964, at the end of 7th grade at Van Sickle Jr High, Jackie wrote to me:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You look like a goober
But you ain't.
Jackie-A poet you weren't. One of the good guys - definitely. And even though we haven't seen each other in years, I have...

Jack, I will miss you so much. I am sorry I never had the chance to visit since I moved to New York. Jack and I worked together at Brightside for over 3 years from 1999-2003. I was his supervisor in the end and I looked forward to seeing him at night because he always had a story to tell. Jack, the kids are really going to miss you at Unit 4. You kept them safe and loved and they will appreciate it forever. Bye Jack! I will miss you greatly!

To the Family of Jack Crawley, please know how thankful we are at Brightside and the Sisters of Providence for Jack's dedicated and heartfelt service to the children he cared for so effectively for so many years. God speed to you and yours.

Jackie and I were great friends all through high school and teamates on the soccer field at Classical. He is fondly remembered for his dominence on the field and his great laugh and friendship off the field. My sincerest condolences from my family to his.

My Dear Friend Jack, Your beautiful smile will be sadly missed in the health service office. May you also smile down on us from heaven...... Always your friend, Nurse Barb Durfee

To the Cawley Family,
Sorry about the loss of your loved one. Jack will be missed deeply by the many individuals whose life he touched at his place of employment. As one of the many individuals touched by Jack's presence; I admired Jack's honesty and sense of humor.
