Not sure what to say?

I worked with John at Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong. I was a fresh MBA recruit and without a sponsor in a highly politicized work environment. John took me under his wing and advocated for me till I found a nice group to work in. We also socialized outside of work. He was always very kind to a junior person like myself and i have never forgotten it. I remembered him recently as i mentioned his kindness to my daughters who are jut starting their first jobs. So i looked up John and was saddened to...

I worked with John long ago in London at Merrill Lynch. A true visionary and all around great person. Truly had enormous fondness and respect for him. Id lost touch with him as Im now in NYC for many years and only discovered his death upon thinking of him today and decided to look him up. Very saddened by his departure.

I met JC at Peter Salles' wedding in Brazil. i felt like he was my long lost older brother. whag a great Guy! My prayers for the Cenedella family. He will be missed very much.

Dearest John,

I only had the pleasure of knowing you for the last 4 years, meeting you randomly when you were on your way to bring a xmas present to your son Al who clearly was your world. We remained friends and had a fun friendship which I will always treasure and feel totally blessed.
To year of your passing has left me feeling empty and filled with sadness, for not only myself but especially for your family and all the people who's lives you touched, I know in my heart,...

It is often stated that God chooses the best flowers for his garden, and today I understand what that means. John was a shining light of pure friendliness and warmth. No one will deny that upon meeting him you were drawn into his warmth and kindness.
I have many fond memories of times shared with him in the South of France over a drink whilst he enjoyed a good cigar. He was especially kind to me when my mother passed away,  which is the sign of a good and caring man.
His smile,...

I met & knew John from SFHS from 1978 to 1982. I last seen & talked to JC at the SFHS 10 year reunion at Foit's Restaurant in Athol Springs, NY. John & I "talked" on Facebook & I enjoyed his sense of wit and was shocked at his untimely passing.
I extend my sympathies to his family.
