John R. Cerinich

Cerinich, John R. Age 94.75 years. Veteran of WWII, proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Passed away April 15, 2016, with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Fritzi Leon Cerinich; loving father of Victoria (Peter Wyatt) Cerinich, Cinthia (Joe) La Porte, Melanie Cerinich, M.D.; adored grandfather of Bridget La Porte, Kostantinos and Eleni Klementzos; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was an avid golfer with outstanding shortgame. Also, he was born a Chicago White Sox fan. Visitation Sunday, April 17, 2016 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont, IL. Lying in state Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. St. Patrick Church, Lemont, IL. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
