Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I met John when he was the high school principle of Dansville. At a time when my son had no faith in humanity and was extremely anti social, John gave him someone to respect and admire. It was a turning point in my sons life and I have always thanked God that John was there to influence him. They had a mutual respect for one another that changed my sons life. I feel very fortunate to have known him. He was a blessed man and I pray that God blesses his family as...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Our Prayers and Thoughts are with Beth and the Whole Family. John was very Special to us and the Dansville Family. All Our Love, Terry Ream Family

He was so kind. He honestly touched anyone he came in contact with. I remember right before Spring break he emailed us to have a great break. He started the email with an apology because he didn't get to tell us that earlier in the day because he had things come up. It struck me then what a great organization I worked for. A cei who was so personable. I pray for his family and pray the rosary for him and you. God bless you through this. You were truly blessed with him in your lives

I can’t be the only kid who had a hard time in school and felt like Mr Chandler was the only one listening. A great man, love and prayers for his family. God bless.

On behalf of the Manistee Area Public Schools Board of Education and myself, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family and many friends. John’s vision for MAPS to authorize Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy continues to be an invaluable opportunity for thousands of students across the State. May time and your faith provide you with peace.

Manistee Area Public Schools

Beth and family, What a good man!! Working with him was such a pleasure. Too soon. Karen and I will keep you in our prayers.

I remember Mr. Chandler from his days at Dansville High School. I know for myself and many other students he was one of everyone's favorite principals. Sending lots of love and light to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Chandler. I knew him as a high-school student in dansville when he was our principal. John was amazing. He always tried to have conversations with all the students. He always had a smile on his face saying hi in the halls. He was the principal known for the pink shirts. Whenever someone didn't follow dress code we wore these pink shirts.
Beth and family I'm so sorry for this loss. He will be deeply missed. He made an impact in people's lives...
