My dad, Alan Luce and Johnny and Bill Chapman were great friends. My brother and I were around them quite a bit between the ages of 8 and probably 13. Between them playing together in the bands and Dennisport we got to know them both quite well. Johnny used to let my family rent one of his cottages behind the Christmas Shop on Lower County Road (it had a new name every year).
